Name: Dax “Havoc” GravesAbout me: I’m a long-time nerd who started enjoying tabletop games, TCGs, video games, and all things nerdy for 20+ years. I’ve been drawing since I could pick up a crayon and haven’t stopped since. I bring a lot of love and passion into what I create because I want others to feel the joy and happiness that gaming, fandom spaces, and nerdy pursuits have brought to me throughout my life. What do I do?: I’m primarily responsible for most hand sewing, pattern making for our fursuit parts, and cutting out fabrics. Along with my partner Naoko, I cast, sand, and finish dice, update our social media accounts, create illustrations, and do a lot of the customer relations for in person events.

Name: Fox "Naoko" GravesAbout me: I've been doing nerdy things for as long as I can remember, playing TTRPGs, TCGs, video games on console and PC. Art has always been a staple in my life, and a way of expression when words just didn't cut it. I firmly believe in encouraging others and bringing positivity and safety to spaces, rather than discouraging people from exploring their passions. What do I do?: As the coffee-powered gremlin of our dastardly duo, I do most of the admin and behind the scenes stuff. I'm responsible for updating and maintaining the website, the bookkeeping, inventory management, photos and photo editing as well as all things dice and doing the machine sewing. I also do art for some of our stickers!

Our first foray into vendoring at conventions as Star Scavenger Studio. Talk about humble beginnings! It was a one day convention in Union City, CA.Havoc and I were on a budget when we pulled this table together, and we had a blast at the convention! We met a lot of really awesome people, and it was a fantastic learning experience on what we wanted to do going forward. This was also before we made furry costume parts a main part of our business model.
Our second convention, and the first after moving cross-country to our current place. Furry Migration was a three day convention held in Minneapolis, MN.We were able to make a lot of improvements to our table display, and it was our first introduction of new products like tails and mystery boxes! This was also Naoko's first furry convention, and it was such a great introduction to the community. The convention staff were superstars, the attendees were super sweet and friendly, and our fellow vendors were helpful and kind! Furry Migration felt like coming home, and we can't wait to return. We also almost sold out of everything, so that was a surprise in the best of ways.
Our third convention, and our first foray into an L shaped display to utilize the 10'x10' booth space. This was an almost local one day convention held in Joplin, MO.When we say that this con set up was a race against time, that is an understatement. They were gracious in letting us load in early, but neither of us really considered just how much time it would take for this kind of booth set up. Nevertheless, it was our best display yet! We redid the packaging for our dice bags(as well as adding stars to the strings), offered stickers, and a new style of all dice mystery boxes!Overall, we had a blast and want to make this one of our yearly conventions. We cannot say enough good things about the staff and patrons!
Back to where it all began! We were thrilled to be able to return to Kin-Yoobi Con since we moved back into the area, and it absolutely did not disappoint. This convention is so much fun! So much is packed into one day, and the staff are always around to make sure everything is running smoothly. The main stage had absolutely wonderful panels, their guest of honor was fun, and the cosplay was so good! We saw many other talented artists there as well, and it really made the whole convention exciting. We can't wait for next year!

Ears we have made so far! We use the no sew and sewn methods, and our ears are currently detailed with soft pastel chalk.
